yuletide letter 2026
Oct. 22nd, 2026 08:02 pmDear Yuletide Writer:
this is mostly a placeholder right now! I have been busy with work emergencies the past couple weeks, but things SHOULD be settling down soon and I hope to have a more extended letter by Halloween.
I've done Yuletide many times and I love it every year, and I focus so much on the writing that I am surprised and delighted every time when the archive goes live and there is a gift for me. What a wonderful thing we all do for each other. Also, I'm open to treats. My Ao3 username is metonymy just like it is here.
Overall DNWs: graphic violence, rape, major character death, extreme gore, body horror, infidelity, bearding, homophobia and transphobia, fat hate, watersports, scat, eye and dental trauma. I'm okay with canon-typical violence and body horror with a slight exception which I'll get into more below.
Likes: Some angst and pain is okay if there's a happy ending. Friendships, bonds forged in adversity, banter, romance, trust. AUs are generally fine, especially if you do something interesting with them.
( Requests to be elaborated on )
